.: Who We Are :.

Welcome to the Doula Cooperative of Rochester, New York!
The Doula Cooperative proudly bears a dual mission for the Greater Rochester area and surrounding counties:
  • To provide a network for doulas to work together and support one another through fellowship, encouragement, education and community relations;

  • To provide a referral network for women and their families with regards to birth and postpartum doulas and other related pregnancy support services.
As professionals working together in community, members of the Doula Cooperative support and stand by the DONA International Doula Code of Ethics for Birth Doulas (DONA International Code of Ethics) and Postpartum Doulas (Postpartum Code of Ethics). Doulas also work as professionals backed by evidence based research.
